Yes, chiropractors are doctors of chiropractic, just like a medical doctor is a doctor of medicine (drugs) and a dentist is a doctor of dentistry.
Chiropractors do a variety of things when it comes to healthcare, and have several different specialties within chiropractic, much like a medical doctor can specialize, so can chiropractors. In general, most chiropractors utilize different methods of spinal adjusting to help improve the overall health of a patient by removing interference with nerve function, which often can also relieve pain caused by that interference.

Chiropractic adjustments are extremely safe.
Adjustments sometimes make a "popping" "clicking" or "cracking" sound because of the gases that move around inside the body when they are performed. Much like when you open a bottle of soda and you hear the air come out. Sometimes the noise happens, sometimes it doesn't, it really doesn't mean anything at all.
Absolutely not! We tailor our adjustments to do what works best for each patient in our clinic!
It is unusual to have to remove any clothing unless it is very thick, bulky clothes such as a jacket or hoodie. Sometimes during an exam, we may need to see certain areas of injury to adequately examine it, and at those times some clothing may need to be removed. For example, when there is bruising, cuts, or bleeding due to an injury to a hip, knee, shoulder, or foot.
Yes, we see many children in our office and make sure our own children get adjusted regularly!
