Why do adjustments sometimes make a popping sound?

Adjustments sometimes make a "popping" "clicking" or "cracking" sound because of the gases that move around inside the body when they are performed. Are all patients adjusted the same way?

Absolutely not! We tailor our adjustments to do what works best for each patient in our clinic!

Will I be required to remove my clothing at my appointment?

It is unusual to have to remove any clothing unless it is very thick, bulky clothes such as a jacket or hoodie. Sometimes during an exam, we may need to see certain areas of injury to adequately examine it, and at those times some clothing may need to be removed. For example, when there is bruising, cuts, or bleeding due to an injury to a hip, knee, shoulder, or foot.

Yes, we see many children in our office and make sure our own children get adjusted regularly!
